Key Performance Areas

  • Provide Administrative support, promote and implement goals of strategic sourcing
    in line with the company strategic goals
  • Support the formulation of strategies to ensure financial outcomes are achieved for
    identified categories of prosthesis , appliances and medicines
  • Ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures , ethical practices and
    adherence to relevant laws and regulations
  • Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable scheme
    rules, Medical aid Act and regulations and decisions of board of trustees
  • Provide administrative support in all strategic sourcing projects and related activities
  • Provide administrative support by ensuring that engagements and meetings are
    planned and run efficiently
  • Support in tracking and updating the savings tracker and project progress on a
    monthly basis. Administrator procurement of business unit items
  • Support the strategic sourcing specialist in tracking and monitoring the performance
    of the various service providers within strategic sourcing
  • Support the implementation of identified strategies by recording statistics relating to
    progress of each project
  • Support the strategic sourcing specialist in the preparation of reports and ensure timeous submission thereof
  • Engage with the finance division regarding purchases and orders and ensure adherence to budget
  • Coordinate meeting requests from senior managers and manager meetings
  • Compile minutes and actions lists for business unit meetings
  • Support in filling Ex Gratia requests that require cost reduction and strategic sourcing input
  • Coordinate senior manager and divisional staff travel quotations in line with the scheme travel policy

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies Required

  • Matric or equivalent
  • Diploma in business management , supply chain or administration or related field
  • 1 year experience in administration
  • Project management skill will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Sound planning/project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be a self starter

Remuneration: R 93 460 to R 109 845

12 Month fixed contract
