Job Description

The Electrical/Energy/Renewable Energy Solutions Engineer is responsible for assisting with identifying, implementing, and maintaining energy efficiency savings and/ or on-site generation for a given project/s and for ensuring that this is done cost-effectively, safely, in accordance with applicable regulations and specifications and in accordance with all aspects of the Service Level Agreement. The Electrical Engineer is also responsible for energy auditing and assisting with business development in pursuit of Energy Service Company (ESCO) contracts.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience: 5 years’ experience Energy Efficiency Turnkey Solar PV Projects Energy Financial Calculations Education and Qualifications: Minimum - Degree in Electrical Engineering Desirable but not mandatory - ECSA – Professional Engineer/candidate. Desirable but not mandatory – completed CEM or CEA course. Desirable but not mandatory - PV Green Card. General Requirements: Must be able to use Outlook/ Email, Shared Drive and Google Chrome, Excel and Word. Preferential: Driver’s licence and driving experience Based in Johannesburg Meticulous recording of information, filing and paperwork. Must be self-driven and highly motivated to achieve results and continuously improve skills and learning.
